This week I toured the mansion for sale at 1866 N Howe in Chicago’s Lincoln Park Neighborhood. The home is offered for sale with or without the adjacent lot to the north.
There are 4 levels including a basement in this 11,000 SF home. It has 6 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms and 3 half bathrooms. There’s an attached 4 car garage. When I toured 1866 N Howe I counted 5 outdoor spaces in addition to the yard. There’s also a greenhouse.

This home has a different feel than some of the other Chicago mansions I’ve written about recently like 461 W Superior and 468 W Huron. The stairwell doesn’t take up as much of each floor. The finishes are more unique without getting too radical.
The mansion is located in the southern part of Lincoln Park. It’s a few blocks from the fine dining restaurants Alinea and Chez Moi.
