Here are all the 227 & 237 East Delaware condos for sale with their location, building and apartment information. Schedule a showing online.
THE CO-OP APARTMENTS
The building has 3 and 4 bedroom units with 2,300 to 3,000 SF. Cooking appliances in units I’ve seen are gas. The apartments have a co-op form of ownership.
Views are fairly limited. One apartment I saw had mounted a rear view mirror to a window to see the lake.
Prices start in the $400Ks for apartments that need significant work. Some apartments have sold for over $900K. See the listings below for current list prices.
THE BUILDING
227 & 237 E Delaware built in the early 1920s has 12 floors with 44 units. According to Baird & Warner’s “A Portfolio of Fine Apartment Homes” published in 1928, “The apartments are carefully laid out so as to insure a maximum of light and air to the apartment. The quarters are large and comfortably planned, affording a most pleasing atmosphere.” [continued below]
