THE LOCATION
227 & 237 E Delaware is located in Chicago in the Streeterville Neighborhood in Chicago’s Near North Side. The building is between N Dewitt Place and N Mies Van Der Rohe Way. It’s a block west of Chicago’s Lakefront and 2 blocks east of the Magnificent Mile on Michigan Avenue. Oak Street Beach is 3 blocks to the north. Shopping on Oak Street is just 4 blocks to the northwest.

THE BUILDING
227 & 237 E Delaware built in the early 1920s has 12 floors with 44 units. The building is staffed 24 hours with a door person. It has storage, but no parking. Rental parking is available across the street. Pets are allowed. Buyers can finance up to 75% of the purchase price.
Since this is a co-op, property taxes are included in the monthly assessments. Utilities included in the monthly assessments include: cable TV, electric, gas, heat and water.

THE CO-OP APARTMENTS
The building has 3 and 4 bedroom units with 2,300 to 2,600 SF. Cooking appliances in units I’ve seen are gas. The most recent sale was 8D, a 4 bedroom which sold in May for $375,000.
