in Naperville, Naperville Houses

Yesterday I showed houses for sale in Naperville to a couple. At this point, they don’t have a preference for a specific area of Naperville, so we looked at houses in several parts of Naperville.

Naperville continues to be a very popular Chicago suburb as evidenced by the rise in median house prices in 2007 for 3 out of Naperville’s 4 zip codes*. The green areas in the map below show the 3 zip codes with a median sale price in 2007 for houses higher than the median sale price in 2006.

Zip code 60565 (darkest green) had the largest increase of 8.3% followed by 60540 (medium green) at 5.9% followed by 60563 (light green) with 2.6%. The only Naperville zip code to have a lower median sale price for houses in 2007 was 60564 (white) with median sale price change of -3.3%.
