THE LOCATION
3100 N Sheridan Road is located on the Northwest corner of Sheridan and Barry. The building currently has a Walk Score of 95 and a Transit Score of 78. The Red Line Stop at Belmont is less than 0.8 of a mile away just east of Belmont & Sheffield. See its interactive Walk Score Map below.

THE BUILDING
3100 N Sheridan also known as The Barry is a vintage building built in 1925 and considered a Belmont Harbor Landmark. The Barry houses 47 condos within its 12 stories.
There are 2 entrances to the building and one on Sheridan and one on Barry. They have retained the original switchboard in a corner of the lobby.
This is an elevator building with only 2 units per floor that share a private foyer. The amenities include a 24-Hour doorperson, on-site manger and engineers, exercise room, coin laundry, bike room, party room and private storage. The outdoor space is an outdoor courtyard along with a playground for children.
As most vintages go there isn’t any parking in the building but there are nearby lease options.
It is a very pet friendly building with a no pet limit. It’s a brief walk to the Belmont Harbor dog beach. Bike and walking enthusiasts can enjoy part of the 18.5 mile lakefront trail across the street from the building.

THE CONDOS
Cooking appliances are gas. In-unit laundry is allowed but not all the condos have installed washer and dryers. IF the unit has retained the original floor plans you will find thick plaster walls, gas fireplace, wide gallery hallways, high ceilings and hardwood floors. Central air conditioning is allowed. The most recent sale at 3100 N Sheridan Road was unit 3D, 3 bedroom unit which sold in May 2013 for $340,000.
