399 W Fullerton Parkway is a vintage co-op building that is one of Chicago’s 300 Historical Landmarks. Built in 1927 this Renaissance style high rise houses 32 spacious apartments within its 17 stories. It was designed by McNally & Quinn who were architects known for designing premier co-operative buildings in the area.
It is a well maintained and full service building. As a guest I enjoyed being escorted up to the units by the gracious doorman who shared some of the history of the building. The monthly assessments include; a doorman, engineer, water, heat, exterior maintenance, scavenge service, exercise facilities and TV cable.
399 W Fullerton Parkway is located at N Lakeview Ave and 3 blocks west of the Fullerton Lake Shore Drive exit. The building is situated across the street from the North Pond Nature Santuary and around the corner from Lincoln Park’s Conservatory. The building currently has a Walk Score of 91 and a Transit Score of 78. The Red Line Stop at Fullerton is less than 0.7 of a mile away just east of Fullerton & Sheffield.
