Entrance of 50 East Bellevue Place, Chicago, IL 60611
A few condos are for sale at 50 East Bellevue Place in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. Here’s a review of the building and the condos I’ve previewed or shown (none are my listings) along with photos and details of the other condos for sale.
THE LOCATION
50 E Bellevue is located 2 blocks west of Chicago’s Lakefront between Rush Street and Lake Shore Drive. Just west of the building is a popular section of Rush Street with several restaurants, bars, and shops. East and a bit south of the building is the north end of the Magnificent Mile. Currently its Walk Score is 98 and its Transit Score is 91. It’s a 1/3 of a mile from the Red Line at Clark and Division. See its interactive Walk Score Map below.
THE BUILDING
50 East Bellevue built in 1979 has 142 units on 27 floors. Only one dog per condo is allowed. A quick search on Google doesn’t show a web site for the 50 East Bellevue Condo Association.
THE CONDOS
Condos have individual (zoned) air conditioners and electric cooking appliances. The condos have no outdoor space and no in-unit laundry hookups. There’s a coin laundry on the 2nd floor. The most recent sale was 1402, a 2 bedroom that sold in December for $370,000.

Any recent sales?
Hi Jonathan,
Yes, in the last 6 months, two 2 bedroom 2 bath condos sold. Unit 1203 sold for $394,000. It’s nicely updated with south views. Unit 1102 sold for $360,000. It’s also updated, but a more traditional style with south, west and north views. Both units included 1 parking space. Good question!
