Last night I started a marketing analysis for a 2 bedroom house in Lake Barrington. The house could either be a great starter home or weekend getaway. It’s a short walk up the road to the Fox River where the property owner has rights to dock a boat.
My dilemma is what home staging suggestions to give the owner. The home is immaculate. It couldn’t be cleaner or more organized. It’s also filled with antiques that give the home tremendous warmth and charm. It might look more spacious with the removal of some of those items, but they contribute much to the look of a country getaway. I’m going to have to ponder making the home look more spacious vs. not taking away from the warm, comfortable appeal.
