Last night I met with a couple interested in selling their condo in Addison and moving up to a house. They have a very attractive home that needs little home staging. They had their condo on the market over a year ago with another Realtor, but it had only a dozen or so showings over a 6 month period.
I suspect one of the reasons why is that the only “photo” used to draw buyers to the home was a drawing of a building in the development. Buyers looking at the listing sent by their Realtors or on the Internet didn’t see how attractive the home is.
As the photo on the right from one of my listings shows, photos tell you a great deal about a home. Successfully marketing a home requires multiple high-quality photos. A photographer who specializes in home photography should be used. If you have an attractive home, buyers need to know that before they are willing to make a trip there.
