Last night I searched for 2 bedroom condos for sale in the Niles area. A gentleman had contacted me looking for a condo for his parents who used to live in Niles. There weren’t any condos for sale in Niles in the price range he gave me1, so I widened my search to the adjacent suburbs of Park Ridge, Glenview, and Morton Grove.
Average home prices in Park Ridge and Glenview are significantly higher than in Niles, so you wouldn’t expect to find entry level prices for condos lower in Park Ridge and Glenview than Niles, but they are. Entry level 2 bedroom condo prices in Glenview start around $155K and around $175K in Park Ridge. Prices start around $200K in Niles. Neighboring Morton Grove where average home sales prices are comparable to slightly lower than in Niles has starting prices around $215K.
