Didn’t it already do that? I created a search a few weeks ago to let me know when open houses occur that match my criteria. I have to say, this is the best search system with that particular feature. One of the others kept sending me to open houses way outside my price range.
Fran if you have any input, the ability to search by proximity is very useful. ZipReality has this and you are able to input an address (say Wrigley Field or a Blue Line Station) and you can then search with a mile, half mile, etc from this location. Really handy for people who want to live walking distance from something.

Yes, previously you could search by property type on BairdWarner.com. We just added more property types to choose from.
Baird and Warner’s mobile search application (text BAIRD to 87778) provides search by proximity where it will show you homes for sale within various ranges from 0.25 miles up to 10 miles away from your current location or a specified address. However, BairdWarner.com doesn’t currently provide this type of search.
I will definitely pass your suggestion along to our corporate office. I personally would love to see an expanded version of search by proximity where I can search for homes within a specified distance of L stops. I frequently get those kinds of requirements from buyers.
