A house in the west suburbs sure looked nice online. Priced in the $300Ks it even featured a private tennis court. My buyers and I were intrigued, so I scheduled the showing first on our list of homes to see that morning. The basement bathroom (shown below) left us speechless. Yes, that’s pieces of wood the toliet is sitting on. Notice the peeling wallpaper and shower door off its tracks and leaning on the wall, not the mention the filth.
Last I checked they dropped the price $35K. It would have been less expensive to fix the problems.

Several people have asked about the tennis court. It was poorly maintained as well. It’s a shame that what was such a nice home at one time was so neglected.
I have to say that you guys come up with the best comedy… that we have to call the real estate business. Again, thanks for a great laugh!
