Chicago’s Case-Shiller Index for March fell 2.5% from February. The drop in February was 2.5% from January. The index is down 7.0% from March 2011. It’s back to its April 2000 level.
The Case-Shiller Index for Chicago is based on resales of houses in the Chicago Metro Area. It’s published with a 2 month lag.
The Chicago Case-Shiller Condominium Index for March fell 0.3% from February. The drop in February was 2.4%. The condo index is down 5.1% from March 2011. It’s back to its October 1999 level.
