Chicago’s Case-Shiller Index for June rose 4.6% from May. The increase from April to May was 4.5%.
The index is down 1.7% from June 2011. It’s back to its June 2001 level. The Case-Shiller Index for Chicago is based on resales of houses in the Chicago Metro Area. It’s published with a 2 month lag.
The Chicago Case-Shiller Condominium Index for June rose 4.2% from May. It rose 4.7% from April to May. The condo index is down 5.2% from June 2011. It’s back to its June 2000 level.
