There will be over 3,500 open houses in the Chicago Metro Area this weekend. Chicago will have over 1,600 open houses, almost 400 on Saturday and over 1,200 on Sunday. Most open houses start in the afternoon, but there are a few open houses on the weekends that start as early as 10 am.
You can also attend open houses during the week. A few Realtors will hold open houses around the lunch hour or just after normal business hours. Broker tours (open houses for Realtors) are held on different days in different towns typically between 10 am and 2 pm. In Chicago broker tours are held on Tuesdays . While these usually aren’t advertised to the public, I’ve never known anyone to be turned away.
