in Near North Side

View From a Condo in Chicago's Old TownOn Monday I showed 3 3-bedroom condos in Chicago’s Old Town Neighborhood. The southeast view from the balcony of one of the condos I showed is shown left.

As with several Chicago Neighborhoods, the Old Town Neighborhood straddles multiple city areas. Most of the Old Town Neighborhood is located in the Near North Side Area of Chicago. The south border starts at Division. East and west borders are Clark and Halsted. The north border is Eugenie Street in Lincoln Park, a little bit north of North Ave.

A good source of information on Old Town is the Old Town Merchants & Residents Association.

I believe Old Town is one of the best neighborhood’s in Chicago to live. It has everything you would want, good restaurants, convenient shopping, close to the lake, and city views. Obviously not everyone can afford to live in this neighborhood, but it is a little more affordable than the neighborhoods it borders, Lincoln Park and the Gold Coast.
