200 E Delaware and 250 E Pearson now have one unit for sale each. However, 219 E Lake Shore Drive just joined the club for downtown Chicago condos with no units for sale. So there are still 10 downtown Chicago buildings with zero units for sale.

1448 N Lake Shore Drive (a co-op) with 50 units just joined the list of buildings with no units for sale.

The downturn in available inventory sure does not seem to have much of an impact on buyers who are helping this market tremendously. You are right Fran, the next couple of months should be very good for sales as the pendings make it to closing.

When I read the headline “real estate for sale” while sipping my coffee, I have to admit that I was a little confused. As a blogger and agent (in Virginia), I understand the strategy here, but for the average reader it would be easier to understand if it read “the inventory of Lakeview real estate for sale”.

You certainly get points for explaining what this means to buyer and sellers. The price drop is interesting since your other related posts on the page seem to reflect market improvement.

That’s pretty awesome.

It reminds me of Las Vegas, actually. Being in one of the central hotels on The Strip gives you open access to each connected hotel, giving you a really long built-in mall full of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Pretty awesome.

The condos down here in Fort Lauderdale don’t have that type yet… Though there is one building that connects over a street, like the towers in Malaysia. Not as cool though, lol
