Thanks for your explanations, Aaron! :) Based on the other photos (most which were shot at the same angle), the sidewalk may be the star here!

Possible explanations:
Photographer has a spine condition
House is too hideous to show
Sidewalk is best feature

Hi Allison,

Good question! Yes, 2008 had the biggest drop in the Chicago Case-Shiller Index. It only dropped 4.5% in 2007 when the index peaked after rising 2.7% in 2006. The housing index is now down 24.8% from the peak in February 2007.

People often limit themselves too much and miss that great house because it was listed just beyond their "set parameters". So, I always include properties that are a little higher because shopping for a home is comparison shopping and you (home buyer) can't see a great value without a little education.

I love it when a client looks at me and says in a hushed tone... is this one really less than that the last one?

Hi Alex,

Baird & Warner's mobile application does not provide a weekly alert for open houses. However, BairdWarner.com does! You can receive a weekly email of upcoming open houses (for all brokers, not just Baird & Warner) by registering on Baird & Warner's HomeFinder System and then saving one or more searches. Enjoy!
