A great legal resource for Chicago condo buyers and owners is Mark Pearlstein’s Condo Adviser column in the Chicago Tribune.

Mark is a partner at Levenfeld, Pearlstein, LLC who specializes in representing community associations and developers. For nearly 25 years Mark has written a column on condominium and homeowner association law for the Chicago Tribune.

The Condo Adviser column appears online and in the print version of the Chicago Tribune on Sundays. Condo Adviser covers a variety of condo association issues including leasing restrictions, work bids, rule changes and unpaid assessments. If you have a question about what’s legal for a condo association, I recommend you check if past columns may have the answer. If not, you can email your question to Condo Adviser at ctc-realestate@tribune.com.
