The number of listed downtown Chicago condos sold in the 4th quarter of 2011 was up 5.2% compared to a year earlier.* 582 condos were sold compared to 553 in the 4th quarter of 2010.

While an increase in sales of 5.2% may not seem that noteworthy consider that the last time there was year over year increase in sales downtown was in the 2nd quarter of 2010 when sales were boosted by the homebuyer tax credit!
