My listing, 1726 W. Glenlake D in Edgewater, a 2 bed 2 bath condo received multiple offers and had a contract in less than 3 weeks.
An Edgewater 2 bed 2 bath condo I recently put on the market had its appraisal yesterday. There should be no problem with it appraising high enough. There were multiple offers and enough recent comparable sales to support the sale price.
I can’t help but think about a comment someone left on the blog, Edgewater Community Buzz, last November that “nothing’s selling”.
A quick check of Edgewater sales from our local multiple listing system shows that in the past year:
192 Edgewater 1 bedroom condos sold with a median price of $140K.
306 Edgewater 2 bedroom condos sold with a median price of $230K.
74 Edgewater 3 bedroom condos sold with a median price of $345K.
That’s a total of 573 Edgewater condos that sold in the past year which is more than the 559 that sold during the prior year.
