Northwestern suburb Elign, IL was picked by This Old House Magazine as one of the top 10 neighborhoods in the country for old houses. Elgin was noted not only for the large selection of older homes, but for their affordability. The article specifically mentioned both the Gifford Park and Spring-Douglas neighborhoods within Elgin where I’ve shown Victorians.
