A couple projects I would suggest checking out are the lofts at the Lakeview Collection (located on Lincoln, Belmont and Ashland) and the mid-rise condominiums at the Roosevelt Collection. Each of these have a Whole Foods close by and Roosevelt also has a Dominick's. Centrum Properties have a few projects in the Chi area that have grocery stores VERY close by, in addition to other convenient retail (like coffee shops and banks) directly below them.
