Richard Laubenstein - Real Estate Attorney. If you are not viewing this post on ChicagoMetroAreaRealEstate.com, it is being used without permission.Wednesday I attended a presentation by real estate attorney, Richard Laubenstein (shown left), with Di Monte & Lizak, LLC. Richard’s presentation, “Short Sales and Sun Tans”, showed the similarities between handling short sales (see my post “Short Sales are Anything But“) and lessons Richard learned watching “Baywatch“. Who knew that David Hasselhoff could help me be a better buyers agent! :)

I never watched an episode of “Baywatch”, but Richard explained the valuable lessons he learned watching the show. He assured the audience he watched it solely for it’s educational value and not because Pamela Anderson used to be on the show. ;)

Richard took the dry and unpleasant subject of foreclosures and made it as interesting as anyone can make foreclosures. He is obviously quite knowledgeable on the subject. He gave me better insights in representing buyers who wish to buy foreclosed properties. Thank you, Richard, for a highly informative foreclosure presentation!
