Helped a Seller in Stephenson County

This past weekend a client emailed me that a friend of his is frustrated trying to sell his house and is looking for a new agent. The house has been on the market over a year. A quick check of the home’s listing on Realtor.Com showed me that the agent is doing less than a stellar job of marketing the property. The Realtor.Com listing doesn’t include an address so that buyers can drive by the home. There’s no description to engage buyers and mention the many featues of the home. According to the seller who I spoke with this morning, the listing agent also isn’t returning his calls.

The house is in Stephenson County, out past Rockford, so I did some research and tapped into my network to find out who some top agents are in the area. I put the seller in touch with a couple of agents who are highly regarded and will work hard for him. When the agents sell the house, I’ll get a referral fee, so it’s a win for everyone. If you’re looking for a Realtor who will work hard to help you buy and/or sell outside of the area I serve, I’d be glad to help you find one too!

It amazes me that in this tough market there are Realtors who would do a half-steam job. I just heard from friends who MAY move here from San Diego, wanting a top-notch realtor to work with. Guess who I’ll send them to – YOU! Because you will do the extra work and ensure their needs are met. And Stephenson County – wow, that’s way out there!
