Sometimes finding the right home location takes some drawing. Such is the case with a home search I just started for a couple wanting to live walking distance from the Brown Line or the Ravenswood Metra Station. Based on some additional requirements (e.g. not too close to Wrigley Field ;) ), I outlined the area to search in the multiple listing system (shown left).

You can create your own map searches. From the Search Chicago Homes for Sale tab at the top of this page, use the drop-down menu and select Search by Map. That will take you to the map search on my broker’s site, BairdWarner.com. Creating a map search is fairly straightforward, but you may want to review my previous blog post, “Map MLS search on BairdWarner.com – Follow the instructions!
