What was the architect thinking?
You can be in the closet. You can be out of the closet. If you buy a townhouse I recently showed, you can be below the closet! Shown left is a second closet in one of the bedrooms. While I’m all for maximizing space usage, this seems to be a bit over the top (at least over our heads).

How true, Sandra! There’s always something new or just plain odd!
Not so fast! What is in that closet and what is right below it? Perhaps there is something that cannot easily (or cheaply) be moved and by at least covering it up with a closet to store seasonal items, you get a decent compromise.
Hi Icarus,
If you have something that cannot easily be moved, do you want to have to carry it up a ladder to get it into a closet?
