This week I received an e-mail from a woman interested a 4 bedroom condo or townhouse in Lakeview for her growing family. She may find sellers not quite as negotiable as those for other condos and townhouses. Four bedroom condos and townhouses in Lakeview was the only attached housing type that saw an increase in second quarter median sale price from both 2009 and 2007. All other types: studios, 1, 2, 3, and 5+ bedrooms all saw declines.

2010′s second quarter 4 bedroom median sale price of $655,000 was up 4.3% from second quarter 2009 and up 5.6% from 2007. The number of 4 bedroom condos and townhouses sold in Lakeview was also up 70% from 2009 and up 13% from 2007.
