The median sale price of resale condos in the Loop in the 3rd quarter was $406,000, 26.9% higher than in the 3rd quarter of 2009. The median was even 11.0% higher than in the 3rd quarter of 2007.

Price improvements were strongest for 2 and 3 bedroom condos. The median sale price for resale 2 bedrooms was $467,000, up 24.5%. The median for resale 3 bedrooms was $815,000, up 46.7%! Studios, 1 bedrooms, and condos with 4 bedrooms or more had lower median sale prices.
