Today I showed houses in Naperville and my buyers wrote an offer. The house they wrote an offer on is walking distance to one of the 3 branches of the Naperville Library. The library has branches at 200 W. Jefferson (Nichols Library, shown left), 2035 S. Naper Boulevard (Naper Boulevard Library), and 3015 Cedar Glade Dr. (95th Street Library).
The Naperville Library has been ranked #1 for populations between 100,000 and 250,000 since at least 1999 according to Hennen’s American Public Library Ratings.

Fran,
Thanks so much for mentioning us in your wonderful blog.
We are very proud to be ranked so high by the national ranking profile, Hennen’s American Public Library Ratings.
But we are just as proud of how often Naperville residents use our services, last year they checked out library materials more than 4 million times!

Susan also shared with me that the Naperville Library also has a lot of services that might interest future Naperville residents.
According to Susan, “if the clients travel a lot for business or pleasure, we offer downloadable books and videos. One resident, a pilot for American Airlines, uses this service when he’s deadheading back to the US from overseas flights. He’s already seen the movies and finds that bringing books to listen to in an MP3 takes up a lot less space than an actual book.”
