Last night while talking with a new client I couldn’t help but smile when he asked if specific condos in downtown Arlington Heights allow dogs. He doesn’t currently have a dog, but he and his partner plan on getting a dog after they sell their separate condos and buy a home together. A couple who contacted me last weekend about possibly relocating to the Chicago suburbs from Santa Fe mentioned that they need a house with a fenced lot for their 3 dogs. I looked at my list of past clients this morning and realized that the majority of my clients have had pets.
These beloved companions definitely are a consideration when buying or selling a home. So it only makes sense that I give the important topic of pets its own category. In future posts I’ll be covering topics such as lots that can or cannot be fenced, condo rules regarding pets, and selling a home when you have pets. To see previous posts I’ve written on the topic of pets, click on my new pets category link on the left side of this page.
