On Sunday and Monday I visited new home developments in Elgin and Carpentersville with a couple relocating from Minneapolis. One of them has a new job with Sears in Hoffman Estates.
Their top two picks were 2 different inventory homes for sale at Pulte’s The Prairies of Winchester Glen in Carpentersville. After I reviewed comparable sales for both homes with the buyers and we discussed features and resale potential of both homes, they chose the home shown left. It’s the Birmingham model with 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and over 3000 square feet of space.
The Prairies of Winchester Glen’s lots can be fenced, but only with black metal fences (no chain link). Dog houses and dog runs are prohibited.
One of the reasons I took my home buyers to Pulte’s The Prairies of Winchester Glen was Pulte’s high ratings on the J. D. Powers New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study. Pulte earned ratings of 5 out of 5 for overall customer satisfaction, quality of workmanship and materials, and home design.
