Realtor.Com – Lots of Traffic, But Not the Most Timely

This morning I enhanced a new listing on Realtor.Com. The home went on the market on Wednesday, but this was the first chance I had to add a headline, description, and other information since it can take up to 2 business days for a new listing to appear on Realtor.com.

From a listing agent’s perspective, Realtor.Com is a great marketing tool since so many people use it to look for homes. I can even send my sellers charts showing them the weekly page views for their homes.

From a buyer agent perspective, I’m often telling clients that a home they found on Realtor.Com is already under contract or even sold. The system doesn’t show when homes are under contract and there can be a day or two before a sold home is no longer shown.
