Barrington House Very Close to Neighbor's HouseOne of the best tools to use when looking at homes for sale online is the satellite map view. Satellite maps show you what surrounds the property.

The house on the left in this “birds-eye view” is a house in Barrington some of my buyers wanted to see until I reminded them to take a peek at the satellite view. They want a medium to large size yard and this view shows a house that clearly doesn’t have that. The neighbor’s house to the right is definitely too close for the amount of privacy my buyers want.

Such views help you identify homes next to railroad tracks, water towers, commercial developments, etc. Even if you’re looking for a condo, it’s helpful to see what buildings surround it.

If you’re looking at homes for sale on BairdWarner.com, just click on the “Map this property” button to see the satellite view of the home. Otherwise, use Google Maps to get the same view.
