If you’ve found a home for sale that looks great online, but you’re curious about its immediate neighborhood, Google Maps may have the views you’re looking for! The blue areas in the map below show that street level views are available for most of the city of Chicago and are expanding out into much of the suburbs.

To see the street level view for a home, enter the address in Google Maps. If a street level view is available, you’ll see a photo in the bubble window for the address and a Street view link.

Street views allow you to rotate the view 360 degrees and zoom in and out. The view you get may not be from exactly the address you entered, but you’ll get an idea of what the neighborhood is like.

We use Google maps here in Thailand to located features about the lands that are for sale. It’s a great free tool.
