This morning I found a REALTOR® to help the daughter of a friend of mine who is moving to Indiana. The daughter was offered a job promotion opportunity there and is now scrambling to sell her house in Missouri and find temporary housing before her new job starts in a week.
If you’re moving to a new area and don’t know any REALTORS® there, having a REALTOR® you do know find one for you is a good way to save some time. A REALTOR® also knows what questions to ask to find another REALTOR® who would be a good fit for you. We REALTORS® are more than willing to do this as we get a referral fee, if you buy or sell using the REALTOR® we refer you to.
You are under no obligation to use the REALTOR® referred to you, but if there was something about the referred REALTOR® you didn’t like, it would be good to let the REALTOR® who did the referral know why the referred REALTOR® didn’t meet your needs.
