Where to Get the Best Look at Homes Online

One of the features buyers love when looking for a home online is multiple photos. The traditional photo of the front of a home is a start, but doesn’t give you any idea what the rest of the home looks like. So I did some checking into what real estate websites are best at providing multiple photos of homes.

Before comparing websites, let me mention that the majority of listings on these sites only display one photo. Many listing agents don’t provide their sellers multiple online photos.

Realtor.Com is the most widely used website by home buyers. Homes listed by Realtors® such as myself who provide Showcase listings can have up to 6 photos.

My broker’s website, BairdWarner.Com, displays up to 10 photos per listing. The photos are also larger than those on Realtor.Com.

I’ve seen as many as 25 photos on a listing on ChicagoTribune.Com. The size of the photos depends on the method used to display the photos. Some will be the same size as on BairdWarner.Com. The rest may be much smaller.

So when it comes to photos start with BairdWarner.Com. If you want to see if there are additional photos, check out ChicagoTribune.Com.
