Wrigleyville in Chicago’s Lakeview Area

Wrigley Field's Famous SignThis morning some buyers and I took a look at a beautiful duplex condo in the Wrigleyville Neighborhood within Chicago’s Lakeview Area. Wrigleyville doesn’t have well defined boundaries, but is generally considered the area around Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, at the northeast corner of Addison and Clark.

You might feel a little out of place living in Wrigleyville, if you’re not a Cubs fan. Several restaurants and bars in the area cater to Cubs fans. You’ll also see lots of Cubs merchandise such as Cubs grill covers and flags outside homes.

You’ll also want to be tolerant of the noise and traffic generated in the area during the major league baseball season. I made the mistake once of driving towards Addison with clients just as a game was letting out. Traffic came to a standstill.

This year’s home opener is Monday, April 13th at 1:20 pm.
