Last week I toured the mansion for sale at 461 W Superior in Chicago’s River North Neighborhood. The 8,380 SF Georgian home is a fairly vertical home.

There are 6 levels including a basement, 4 above ground interior floors and a large rooftop terrace with nice city views. All levels are connected by a large staircase in the center of the home, a spiral staircase hidden except on the basement level, and an elevator.

The home has 6 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. There’s an attached 3 car garage. The basement includes a theater room.

The home doesn’t have a yard, but there are plenty of outdoor spaces. In addition to the large rooftop terrace there are 3 terraces on the south (back) side of the home.

The mansion is located in the northwest part of River North. It’s 1 block west of the fine dining restaurant Zealous and 3 blocks southeast from Japonais.

I also toured the home a while ago and shot the following video:

Thanks, Joe! 461 W Superior had a lot less furniture when you shot your video in February. It’s interesting to see the difference in how it shows now vs then.
