The inventory of listed Chicago 4 bedroom condos for sale continues to drop.* There were 352 condos with 4 or more bedrooms for sale in August down 23.8% from August 2011 when there were 462 such condos for sale.
The median sale price dropped 19.5% to $531,250. The number of closed sales was up 39.4%. Pending sales were up 82.1%. The average days on market for pending sales was down 33.6%.
As shown above the inventory of Chicago 4 bedroom condos for sale is at a 2 year low. Over 20% of the 4 bedroom condos for sale were downtown. Over 15% were in Lincoln Park.
