The inventory of listed Chicago 1 bedroom condos for sale continues to plummet.* There were 2,658 1 bedroom condos for sale in Chicago in the second quarter down 18% from second quarter 2012 when there were 3,242 1 bedroom condos for sale.
Prices for 2 bedroom condos for sale in Chicago’s Gold Coast may start at only $200,000, but nearly half of them are priced above $600,000. In 2012 the median sale price was $476,250. In 2011 and 2010 it was $405,000 and $503,250. There are some priced above $3M.
The inventory of listed Chicago 2 bedroom condos for sale continues to drop. There were 5,948 2 bedroom condos for sale in Chicago in the second quarter down 17% from second quarter 2012 when there were 7,162 2 bedroom condos for sale.
