The art deco style high-rise was built in 1929 and named the Palmolive Building, but didn’t have condos until 2006. It was renamed the Playboy Building in 1965 when Playboy Magazine moved offices there. The name reverted back to the Palmolive Building in 2006.
It houses 90+ condos in its 37 stories. There’s an exercise room, spa, sauna, steam room, additional storage and large club room. Security is tight. Guests leaving a unit can only return to the first floor.
