THE CONDOS

THE BUILDING

The Skybridge built in 2003 houses 220+ condos. It has a 24 hour door person, exercise room, roof deck and even a dog run. The elevators are spacious. Parking in the building is deeded. Pets are ok.

THE LOCATION

While riding the elevator in the Skybridge one day we chatted with one of the residents. The first thing she talked about was how convenient the location was for her. The Skybridge is located at the southeast corner of Washington and Halsted, just west of I-90/94 at 737 W Washington Blvd.

There’s a Mariano’s grocery store just a block away. There’s a Walgreen’s Pharmacy 2 blocks away. In 2015 there will be a Whole Foods grocery store in the first floor of the building.

The building currently has a Walk Score of 89 and a Transit Score of 90. The Green Line is a 1/3 of a mile away at Clinton and Lake. The #20/Madison bus which runs east and west stops right in front of the building. The #8/Halsted bus which runs north and south has stops just a block away.

737 W Washington has a Bike Score of 82. A Divvy bike sharing station is a block away.

According to WalkScore.com, the location has a Crime Grade of A. That means it’s a lowest crime area compared to all of Chicago.
