Chicago’s Case-Shiller Index fell 7.4% in 2010, slightly worse than the 7.2% drop in 2009, but not as bad as the 14.3% drop in 2008. The housing index is back to its March 2002 level.
Chicago’s Case-Shiller Index for November 2010 dropped 2.2% from October. Between September and October it dropped 2.0%. The Chicago index is down 7.6% from November 2009.
Chicago’s Case-Shiller Index for October 2010 dropped 2.0% from September. Between August and September it dropped 1.5%. The Chicago index is down 6.5% from October 2009.
