The inventory of listed Chicago luxury condos for sale continues to drop. There were 506 condos for sale in Chicago priced $1 million or higher in the second quarter down 21.6% from second quarter 2012 when there were 645 such condos for sale.
The inventory of listed Chicago luxury condos for sale continues to drop. There were 480 condos for sale in Chicago priced $1 million or higher in the first quarter down 24.4% from first quarter 2011 when there were 635 luxury condos for sale.
The number of listed Chicago condos that sold for $1M or higher in the 4th quarter was up 63.3% from 4th quarter 2011. There were 98 Chicago luxury condo sales compared with 60 a year earlier. None of the 98 sales were short sales or foreclosures.
