The inventory of listed downtown Chicago homes for sale continued to drop in the 2nd quarter. There were 14.8% less such homes for sale compared to 2nd quarter 2012. There were 2,720 downtown Chicago homes for sale vs. 3,191 a year earlier.
The inventory of listed downtown Chicago apartments for sale continues to fall. There were 2,324 apartments for sale in downtown Chicago in the first quarter down 27.2% from first quarter 2012 when there were 3,194 apartments for sale. The inventory of downtown Chicago apartments for sale is down over 57% from first quarter 2010.
The inventory of listed downtown Chicago homes for sale continued to drop in the 1st quarter. There were 27.5% less such homes for sale compared to 1st quarter 2012. There were 2,348 downtown Chicago homes for sale vs. 3,237 a year earlier.
The inventory of listed downtown Chicago homes for sale continued to drop in the 4th quarter. There were 29.9% less such homes for sale compared to 4th quarter 2011. There were 2,229 downtown Chicago homes for sale vs. 3,179 a year earlier.
