The number of downtown Chicago 1 bedroom condos listed for sale in the first quarter of 2012 was down 36.7% compared to first quarter 2011. The number of downtown Chicago 1 bedroom condos sold in the first quarter of 2012 was up 39.3%.

While reviewing 2011 downtown Chicago condo sales statistics I ranked the median sale price for each building. To make the top 10 in the rankings for 2011 a condo needed a median sale price of over $1.5M.
