A Better Buying Experience
Recently Wall Street Journal Reporter, Sanette Tanaka, wrote that “less than 5% of mid- and high-rise residential condo buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn have a designated 13th floor”. This statistic was based on an analysis of roughly 1500 condo declarations by CityRealty.
Condos are for sale at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Chicago Magnificent Mile in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Here’s an overview of the location, building and units along with photos and details of the condos for sale.
The inventory of listed downtown Chicago condos for sale continues to fall. There were 2,328 condos for sale in downtown Chicago in the first quarter down 27.1% from first quarter 2012 when there were 3,195 condos for sale.
Some home owners at Water Tower Place are taking advantage of the lack of inventory for downtown Chicago luxury condos for sale. Four units at Water Tower Place came on market during the past 10 days. All of the homes for sale are truly new listings. None has been on market since at least 2010.
Downtown Chicago’s inventory of condos for sale is still dropping. As of this morning there are 10 condo and co-op apartment buildings that have zero units listed for sale. The buildings have at least 13 units and one has over 200!
